As we age, it becomes increasingly important to adhere to good senior wellness practices. Doing so can help improve your recuperation times after illnesses and in some cases even help you avoid medical problems in the first place. Here are 5 valuable health and wellness tips: 1. Eat a well-balanced diet and don’t forget to eat breakfast every day. 2. Drink plenty of water or water-based fluids. You may notice that you feel less thirsty as you get older, but your body still needs the same amount of water to stay healthy. 3. Fit physical activity into your everyday life. For example, take short walks throughout your day. You do not have to have a formal physical activity program to improve your health and stay active. 4. Get enough sleep. 5. Stay connected with family, friends, and your community.
