March 31, 2014, was an important night for the Marshalltown, Iowa Home Care office. It marked the celebration of the office meeting its 2013 goals!
The party took place at The Ridge in Marshalltown with all employees and a guest invited. The happy group started the evening with a social hour, followed by a delicious buffet supper of salad, breadsticks, pasta w/various toppings/sauces and pizza. A PowerPoint slideshow was displayed, exhibiting photos of employees and various events throughout the last two years. The group enjoyed fellowship while partaking in the glorious feast---and then the fun started!
The focus of the evening was to celebrate, but the outcome of 2013 is not something that happened overnight. It was the culmination of years of working, planning, striving and achievement, and many people played a part in the success. Each employee was called up to the front of the room for recognition of their contribution toward the success of the office. Each employee’s unique skills were celebrated. Gifts and certificates were given out---with a fun-loving spirit! Staff was recognized with a toy gun for being a “straight shooter,” a tire gauge for being “cool under pressure,” a package of flower seeds for “helping us grow,” and many more. There were also door prizes furnished by the corporate office.
The evening ended with inspirational and heartfelt words from the Branch Manager, Julie Swett, and owners Kim & Steve Weber. Julie and the team were presented a plaque for outstanding performance. Happy faces filled the room and hearts overflowed with the joy of the hard work performed, and the gratification of an excellent job done.
